Toyota Upgrades IC Forklifts

Toyota Material Handling has upgraded its line of forklifts with internal combustion engines. The new models will be available in January 2020. The models will also include new standard features that were previously available only as an option. The enhancements have been performed on Toyota’s bestselling line of Core, Mid, and Large IC forklifts.

The new tech features include a standard multi-function display with increased functionality, data recording and data storage. The new multi-function display features advanced diagnostics and password protection for drivers, administrators, and service functions.

Toyota Material Handling Group has improved its line of IC forklifts.

The display also includes advanced on-board technology like QR code diagnostics and operations data logs. After a simple camera scan of a QR code the lift sends instant diagnostic information and operational data concerning truck service and maintenance needs to the user’s mobile device.

The Toyota Core, Mid, and Large IC forklift update also includes additional features to increase efficiency and reduce maintenance and downtime. These new features include a coil-on plug ignition system, a newly designed counterweight, fuel efficiency improvements, standard LED headlights and enhanced LED combination light options.
