Video of the Week: “Hey, I’m in Here!”

It’s everybody’s worse nightmare.

Nobody likes using Port-a-Potties in the first place. But imagine what it would be like if you were using one of those cramped, smelly portable toilets and suddenly it was hoisted up into the air by a forklift.

That nightmare became a reality for one poor woman at a beach resort in Vlugtenberg, Holland, recently.

A video posted on YouTube shows a pastoral oceanfront scene. At the center of the frame is a tan and brown portable toilet. In the distance, a truck can be heard idling.

Suddenly, a forklift comes into the frame, slips its forks beneath the Port-A-Potty, and begins to lift it up. Screams can be heard coming from inside the portable toilet, as well as the words, “Hey, I’m in here!” in Dutch.

The forklift drops the Port-A-Potty, the door swings open and an indignant older woman steps out, shouting and glaring at the forklift operator as bystanders can be heard laughing in the background.

The title of the video? Translated from the Dutch, it means “Always Something Going on in Vlugtenberg!”
